About Watercolor by Marty

Marty first started watercolor painting in early 2019 when she needed a 'hobby' during law school. Despite the unconventional start, she quickly fell in love with the medium. Although she hadn't painted since adolescence, Marty's internal creativity blossomed as she explored the charming world of watercolor art and she has been avidly painting ever since.

 

When the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns hit in 2020, Marty began sending hand-painted watercolor cards to family and friends as a way to connect with those she loved. After an overwhelmingly positive response and many hundreds of cards later, she has decided to offer her cards for sale! Each one is still painted with just as much detail and care, and our hope is that they will continue to be cherished and bring joy wherever they are sent.
